When following this exercise the colour of the tungsten light looking back in to the room (having looked at daylight for one minute) was very yellow and the daylight still very white.
The photos I took with different the white balance set to Auto, then daylight and then tungsten with the aperture fully open at f /2.0 and with an ISO setting of 200 (lowest for the camera) was 1/17 sec.
