Visit to the Fox Talbot Museum at Lacock Abbey

On the 1st March I visited the Fox Talbot Museum at Lacock Abbey.

The museum celebrates the achievements of former Lacock resident, William Henry Fox Talbot, famous for his contributions to the invention of photography and it was interesting to see the artefacts that had been mentioned in Graham Clarke’s “The Photograph”.

As well as the permanent exhibition to Fox Talbot there was a fantastic photographic exhibition “The Theatre of Insects” by the American photographer Jo Whaley (see separate blog).
